Home again, Home again

First Smile! It is so fun to see Olivia with her first smiles. She is doing them so much more now and making little coos. Here she is waking up, so the crazy hair. It couldn't be timed better. 2 days before we left for our Vegas/St. George trip we got a wedding announcement from our friend Heidi. She is the one that set Neal and I up. So we got to be at her temple wedding in Las Vegas before we left.

It is so good to be home. We had a fun time traveling, but it's nice to be home again.

Friday, April 24

Today was a lazy day. We ended up leaving after noon to take the boys on a double decker bus. L had seen it all week and wanted to go. It was only $3.00. Cheapest entertainment yet.


On the way back to the car we walked past the M & M store and we got a semi-picture with the red M&M. Darn that sun in the eyes though.

Thursday, April 23

Today we headed back to Ethel M to see them making the chocolate and actually just missed them by about 5 minutes. So we just took a picture out front.


Next, we headed to Hoover Dam. We were impressed by the new Bypass they were building. They started in 2003 and expected to finish in 2010 but a part, some towers, were blown down by strong winds a while back and it took them 18 mos. to figure out how to continue. So it is a little behind schedule. The picture shows the arch to form the bottom of the bridge.


We took a tour of the Power Plant and saw the turbine.


The boys humored me with a picture of them on the Nevada-Arizona state line. N is in Nevada and L is in Arizona.


We couldn't believe how low the water level was in Lake Mead. Notice the white rock that you can now see.


And finally, we took a family picture on the observation level. The boys were not too excited, but we took it anyway. They were tired and hot and ready to go.

First Swim!

I'm not ready to go swimming yet. Just 5 more minutes.

I'm just too tired to go swimming yet. Love the suit?! Seahorses!


I finally wake up and love the pool. I just curl up in mom and dad's arms and enjoy the warm water. The pool is wonderful. Dad and the boys usually hang out for hours. The temperature is like bath water. However, I'm just here for about 15 mins. Don't want to overdue it the first time.

Wednesday, April 22

Today we went to the Ethel M Chocolate Factory for a "tour." I say "tour" because it is self-guided, about 15 yards long and you just look in big windows at people working to make chocolate treats. But, we got a free sample - yum.

Next, we went to the Temple to show George and Wanda.




Finally, we went and saw my old schools I taught at - a nice stroll down memory lane.

Tuesday, April 21

On Tuesday we head to the "Narrows." We get our picture taken inside.

After the "Narrows," we head to the top of Dixie Rock for a family pic and to look over the valley.

Here is a picture of Neal heading inside with BOTH boys. Noah decided he needed to go this time and enjoyed himself. Logan is already an old pro.

Family heads to St. George WorldMark. We visit Zion's National Park and take a nice walk.

Ahhhh!

Big brother to the rescue! Mom is running around like a chicken ... trying to help with breakfast and answer the phone so Logan helps out by feeding his sister. He did a great job!

Easter Day!

The boys go on their Easter egg hunt in the backyard and have a great time.


L gives kisses to his baby sister. He is very cute with her.


Here I am in my pretty Easter dress.

Mom makes German pancakes. And yes, they are supposed to swell, I just don't think that much. It was hilarious to see and we enjoyed eating them very much. YUM!!
